HEAD COACH - Mo Ashouri
Mo Ashouri is the technical expert, leading the coaching staff at House of Wrestling.
With over 25 years of wrestling experience, winning Gold at the Asian Junior Championship (60kg freestyle) in Iran in 2004 and locally, winning Gold at the Australian Cup (74kg freestyle) in 2014 and 2015, Mo knows what it takes to become a Wrestling champion.
Mo's international wrestling experience, training and coaching style will help to grow and develop the next generation of future champion wrestlers, providing wrestlers with a tailored training program - from beginners to prospective Olympians.
Mo's versatile expertise has been proven to develop beginners wanting to improve wrestling skills for MMA or prepare for their first match to advanced Wrestlers wanting to represent Australia at the next Olympics.

COACH - Omid Ashoori
Omid is the principles and performance advisor, leading the analysis of each athlete’s performance and wrestling style at House of Wrestling.
​
With 24 years of International Martial Arts experience (Sanda, Kickboxing, Muay Thai), winning Gold at the Iranian National Championship for 4 consecutive years in Sanda (Chinese kickboxing), Omid's diverse expertise and training helps athletes discover and develop their own unique wrestling style.
​
By understanding the principles to maximize their performance on the mat and/or in the ring, Omid focuses on the fundamentals and analyzes the performance of each athlete to develop customized training programs to leverage their unique strengths and style.

Omid’s coaching style provides the personal and strategic touch to achieve a winning performance.

COACH - Justin Holland
Justin Holland is the expert leading the development of youth and flow wrestling at House of Wrestling.
​
As a two times Commonwealth Games athlete, silver and bronze Commonwealth Championships and professional career spanning over 12 years, Justin knows what it takes to achieve the staying power of a wrestling champion. and has helped thousands of students including training with and being coached by Olympic/World Champions, coached professional MMA fighters
to develop the drive, determination /resilience and ... required to sustain their wrestling journey.

FOUNDER - Donna Mendoza
As the founder of House of Wrestling, Donna discovered the value and power of wrestling later in life and is on a mission to catapult the growth and development of wrestling in Australia particularly in youth and women.

With over 25 years of experience in fitness, sport and exercise, Donna has holistic knowledge of what it takes to learn, develop and master the most important components to take your performance to the next level including motor skill development, injury prevention and exercise recovery.

Leading the (United World Wrestling) 'Wrestle4Fun' and human performance programs, Donna’s unique and diverse expertise and coaching style will help you to embark on a rewarding and sustainable wrestling journey.
